As a civil servant in the Office for Zero Emission Vehicles, he heads the Consumer and Data Policy team. He is responsible for overseeing policy, legislation and regulation for all consumer-related aspects of the UK’s public EV charging infrastructure and for the UK’s EV Open Data policy, including accessibility for disabled drivers. In addition, he has also been a key contributor to multiple cross-sector task forces in this area.
